I finished the Fruit of the Spirit Angel and my little blocks of art (I sealed with beeswax for the first time) I want to thank Suzi, Mystele and Jane DesRosier for the wonderful tutorials on YouTube.
I also have my rendition of The Mona Lisa on ebay.
I hope you like my new work :)

They are all lovely. You have been busy. I thought about buying beeswax when I was at Michael's yesterday. Then I remembered all the supplies I already have that I haven't tried yet and decided to wait. I'll have to try it soon. I think it looks fun.

so cute! I have been thinking about beeswax lately too-- Im just chicken! Im afraid I'd get a painting all done and ruin it! The tutorials Ive seen look pretty easy though, yours came out great~!

I gave beeswax a try too a couple of years ago. Well actually I tried encaustics. They are so hard to control.
Do you use masonite board or some other hard surface? I have heard not to use canvas with the wax as it can crack and fall off. But I wonder if it is true.
I do love the way the aqua looks under the beeswax in the mermaid painting. It "feels" like water!
