I am so happy. I have Internet again! I could finish my dollie from Jane Desrosier cloth and clay workshop.
All the videos were online and I didn't know what to do next so, she was there waiting to be finished. I was so tempted to guess the next step but I wait and there she is... (I haven't name her yet :s)
I hope you like it.
One day I said that my 8 year old Ashley is crazy about art too and she draws a lot. I love her drawings, I think they are great and I wanted to share 2 of them with y'all.
She draws dogs, horses and cats. These are sketches that she finished today.
I want her to paint them but she just throws them away! I am not exaggerating she make like 15 drawings a day like these.

Good heavens, mother and daughter geniuses! the doll is so beautiful and the drawings are amazing! I am not even going to show them to my nine year old, she would have an inferiority complex! It must be in her genes!
Beautiful work! Both of you!!!

Wow, just like her mom! So wonderful!
Hi Adri,
These are from 8 years old!! My goodness!
Have a wonderful weekend!!
Your doll turned out great. No one would know it was your first. It is so well done. I hope people are clicking on the photo to see the detail. She has such a pretty face and the dress fabric is lovely.
Ashley is truly an amazing artist at 8 years old. For the past decade I have been teaching the 8-10 years old girls in Activity Days for our church. We do lots of arts and crafts and very few of my girls draw as well as Ashley. I hope she can be convinced to try painting some of her cute doggies or at least not throw the drawings away. Have a nice weekend.

Just found your blog though Youtube!
I love an art blog. Your daughter is VERY GOOD! She's gifted and you need to encourge her talent with training. I'm jealous. I'm no good with dog - drawing them that is. In real life, I'm great with them.
LOVE the doll and your daughter is obviously a budding force to be reckoned with in the art world! That's so wonderful.

How old is she? These are so beautiful!!! She definitely has great talent!!!

Wow! Are these really drawn by an 8-year-old? I wish I could draw like your daughter! Don't let her throw those drawings away! If she doesn't want to colour them, you keep them in a safe place for later. Maybe when she is older she'll come to her senses and will appreciate and treasure her own work. Her drawings are awesome! Congratulations!
By the way, great doll too! I was so impressed by your daughter's work that I almost forgot to compliment your work.
